Science Debate

I'm wandering into political waters here, but it's for a good scientific cause. Science Debate 2008 is a movement to petition the U.S. presidential candidates to have a debate regarding topics in the sciences - from the environment and climate change to regulation and legislative ideas surrounding stem cells and cloning. Also of importance are their ideas about science funding. I don't need to explain that one to any scientists. We all feel the crunch.

A recent study released by the organization found that 85% of Americans agree that a debate of this nature is necessary.
