Despite the media surrounding WHO research into cell phone use and a specific form of brain cancer last year, the National Cancer Institute Bulletin this week reported on research published last month that shows no increased risk of cancer in children and adolescents due to cell phone use. The study was conducted in four European countries and looked at the cell phone use of adolescents (age 7 to 19) who were diagnosed with a brain tumor. Cell phone use over the course of 5 years was not associated with the occurrence of tumors.
